The Shiny Show is a very entertaining and informative quiz show for 3 - 5 year olds produced for Cbeebies. Our 3 main characters, Dogsby, Mukka and Tigs, put on their own quiz show and we are encouraged to join in at home. The questions are based on short video sequences, which explore some aspect of the world around us. Each programme centres on a certain location or idea, for example 'Pets', 'Flying', or 'A Garden'. The animals ask each other questions and collect 'Shinies' for each right answer. In between each sequence a story develops as the characters extend the experience into their play, encouraging viewers themselves to play with imagination and co-operation.
